Great news for Brownfields in Florida. The Florida Legislature concluded its regular 2018 session Sunday and passed legislation (HB 7087) to increase annual voluntary cleanup tax credit (VCTC) tax credits to $18.5 million (increased from $10M) for the next 2018-2019 fiscal year, beginning July 1, 2018. VCTC recipients will see this increase in the form of more VCTC tax credit certificates issued after July 1, 2018, when the new state fiscal year begins.
